Super Eagles mercurial winger, Ademola Lookman, has picked up a €35m with Spanish giants Atlético Madrid.
This is after Lookman and Italy’s Atalanta, parted ways recently.
Atlético Madrid will cough out a fixed fee of €35m, with a further €5m in add ons included in the deal, taking the total package to €40m.
The agreement was reached after final discussions on Saturday night.
Lookman has also agreed personal terms on a long term contract, clearing the final hurdle for the transfer to proceed.
Atlético had begun the player’s travel arrangements and medical examinations, which are expected to take place shortly, ahead of the formal completion of the move.
