The presidential task force on COVID-19 (PTF) on Tuesday hosted a reception ceremony for the COVID-19 vaccine as it landed in Nigeria.
The vaccine was brought into the country via Emirates flight B 777-300 which touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 11:35am.
A banner was printed bearing the inscription “Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 (PTF) welcomes you to the reception ceremony for the arrival of Covid-19 vaccines in Nigeria.”
Some of those present at the reception ceremony were Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Faisal Shuaib; Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire; and Director-general, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Iheakwazu.
