Nigeria has recorded 317 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.
The agency disclosed this on its Facebook page Saturday morning.
The agency said Lagos recorded 172 cases, making it the state with the largest chunk of the new infections.
Akwa Ibom has 62, Oyo 33, Rivers 32, Ekiti 5, FCT 5, Ogun 3, Sokoto 2, Bayelsa, Gombe and Kano had one each.
Four states with zero cases reported are Imo, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Plateau, according to NCDC.
The anti-disease agency said with these new figures, Nigeria has 170,623 confirmed cases, 164,780 discharged and 2,131 deaths.
