Another 255 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia have been evacuated back to Abuja.
The returnees arrived into the country on Monday through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja via Saudi Air Flight SV3405 at about 1pm on Monday, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), has said.
The agency said the returnees would proceed on quarantine at the Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days in line with the reversed COVID-19 protocols by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19
21st Century Chronicle recalled that 384 stranded citizens were evacuated from Saudi Arabia in January. The NIDCOM said they were among the 802 stranded Nigerians which the Federal Government had promised to evacuate from the country.
