A forum of professionals under the aegis of South-south Emerging Leaders Forum (SELF) has urged people of the South-South region to support political appointees from the region to succeed in their jobs irrespective of political affiliation.
A statement signed on Monday by the Secretary of the forum, Dr. Preye Johnson, the group said people from the region should rally round their leaders instead of criticizing them in order to distract them.
SELF urged media practitioners from the region to project the positive contributions of the Minister of State for Petroleum Chief Timipre Sylva and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Local Content Board, Simbi Wabote, to the region and the nation at large.
