N’Golo Kante, a midfielder for Chelsea, allegedly passed a physical before joining Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League for €100 million per season.
The fact that Saudi officials had traveled to London to meet with Kante was first made public on Monday. Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, a deal has been formally concluded.
Kante would reportedly make a staggering €200 million (£172.1 million/$213.8 million) over his two years with Al-Ittihad. Romano claims that Kante finished his physical on Wednesday in London and that the Saudi club would soon make an official statement.
Karim Benzema, a former Real Madrid talisman, will team up with the World Cup champion at his new club, who won the league last year. During the 2023–24 season, the two will face off against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr for titles.
