Mrs. Nenadi Esther Usman, has been elected the substantive National Chairman of the Labour (Party LP).
She was elected at the party’s 2026 elective national convention held on Tuesday in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
Also elected was former member of the House of Representatives for and Special Adviser to Governor Alex Otti on Political Affairs, Acho Obioma, who now serves as the party’s National Secretary.
He replaces Senator Darlington Nwokocha, who previously served as Secretary of the Caretaker Committee.
All members of the new National Working Committee emerged through a consensus arrangement.
