The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Wednesday cautioned residents of Ikeja in Lagos state to avoid open fire due to gas pipeline leakage in the area.
NENA issued the warning in a statement by its spokesperson (south-west) Ibrahim Farinloye, on Wednesday.
The affected areas include Computer Village, Ikeja Underbridge end of Awolowo Way, Oba Akran axis, Anifowose Street, and Medical Road.
The agency asked residents to take safety precautions to prevent any form of disaster as a result of the gas leakage.
