Nigeria has recorded 565 fresh coronavirus infections in 13 states on Monday.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on its website.
The agency said Lagos has 205 new cases, followed by Rivers 73, Ondo 63, FCT 53, Oyo 53, Ekiti 37, Delta 24 and Edo 20.
The data revealed that Benue recorded 12 cases, Bayelsa 6, Kwara 6, Osun 6, Ogun 5 and Adamawa 2.
NCDC said seven states have reported with zero cases thus: Cross River, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Plateau and Sokoto.
This brings the total confirmed infections to 187,588.
The agency said 168,818 people diagnosed with the virus were discharged.
While 2,276 deaths were recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic in February last year.
