Governors elected on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), have insisted that the party’s national convention will hold in February as earlier scheduled.
The governors also passed a vote of confidence on Governor Mai Mala Buni-led caretaker committee and its membership.
They met behind closed doors at the Kebbi state Governor’s Lodge in the Asokoro District of Abuja.
Chairman of the Forum and Kebbi state Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu said the governors also agreed to go ahead with the national convention slated for February.
He said the CECPC would consult with other stakeholders to harmonize all positions and announce a suitable date within the affected month for the convention.
