Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan representing Kogi Central, on Tuesday returned to the Senate after the expiration of a six-month suspension slammed on her.
Natasha was present when the Red Chamber resumed plenary with Senate President Godswill Akpabio presiding over the session
The Senate resumed on Tuesday after a 10-week recess.
Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended in March 2025 for six months over alleged misconduct during her protest against the reassignment of her seat by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on February 20.
Subsequently, her office – located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing – was locked on March 6, 2025.
When her suspension ended, on September 23, the Deputy Director of the National Assembly Sergeant-at Arms, Alabi Adedeji, paved the way for her return.
On the day she returned and got into her office, Akpoti-Uduaghan had described Akpabio as a “dictator”.
