The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has fixed N7.6 million as fare for 2027 Hajj.
This was revealed on Friday in a public notice released by the commission.
Intending pilgrims from Maiduguri / Yola Zone would pay ₦7,560,822; Northern Zone ₦7,672,822; and Southern Zone ₦7,882,822.
The commission said the fares were determined following consultations with the leadership of the Forum of State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, key service providers, as well as exchange rates and service costs.
The commission said intending pilgrims who hitherto deposited N5 million are required to pay the outstanding balance to complete their registration.
It also urged new registrants to proceed with payment through their respective pilgrims agencies, or through any approved Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS) participating bank.
The commission also fixed September 26, 2026 as the final deadline for the complete
upload of intending pilgrims’ biometric data on the designated Nusuk-Masar digital platform.
NAHCON said the remittance of all 2027 Hajj fares by states must be completed by December 2, 2026.
It warned that no extension will be granted beyond this deadline, as data synchronization and seat allocations depend entirely on timely remittances.
The commission emphasized that failure to meet the set deadlines will result in forfeiture of the allocated Hajj slots.
