Nigerian Air Force (NAF), says the Air Component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Sector 2, has delivered two precision Air Interdiction (AI) missions at Turba Hill and Kachalla Dogo Sule’s Camp in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The spokesperson of NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, announced this on Monday, saying the bombings on Sunday hit enclaves of bandits linked to recent attacks in the North-West.
He said the first strike hit Turba Hill and destroyed a zinc-roofed structure central to the enclave’s operations.
“Post-strike assessment confirmed the total destruction of the target and the neutralisation of several bandits.
“The second mission hit Kachalla Dogo Sule’s Camp, a notorious IED manufacturing and operational hub linked to recent attacks along the Dan Sadau–Magami axis.
“Multiple active structures were engaged, triggering intense fires that destroyed the facilities and neutralised several bandits, crippling the group’s IED production and deployment capacity,” he said.
