The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released the suspended Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris.
He was arrested on May 16 in Kano over allegations of over N174 billion fraud.
Mr Idris was released on bail by the anti-graft agency on Wednesday night in Abuja.
The suspended AGF has been reunited with his family, according to a video obtained by 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE.
EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, said on Thursday morning that, “The suspended Accountant-General is out on bail. He was released last night.”
On May 19, Mr Idris was suspended by the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, to enable him to face his probe.
