The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) say the “dishonourable and shameful act of resorting to violence to eliminate citizens of Benue state by brutal means must not continue.”
The Forum said this in a statement by its Chairman and Governor of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi, on Sunday.
The governors’ statement came following Saturday attack on the convoy of Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom along Makurdi-Gboko road, but the governor escaped unhurt.
