The mother of Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi, is dead.
Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar died in the early hours of Wednesday.
Her death was announced by the governor’s spokesperson, Hamisu Gumel, on Wednesday.
Her funeral would take place at her hometown of Kafin Hausa, in Jigawa state, by 4:30 pm.
The governor and his family requested prayers for the repose of his mother’s soul.
