Sultan Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar has declared Monday, May, 2 as the Sallah day as the new moon of Shawwal, 1443AH was not sighted anywhere in the country.
According to the monarch, the national moon sighting committee did not receive any report from various sub-committees across the country.
“Therefore, Sunday, May 1st, 2022 is the 30th day of the month of Ramadan 1443AH.
