Irate youths have razed down a police division in Ifon, the headquarters of Ose Local Government Area in Ondo State, over the reported death of a boy in police custody.
The boy was reportedly tortured to death.
It was learnt that the angry youths became provoke after news filtered into the community the boy had died in hospital after the police after torture.
The mob also burnt down another building in the area during the unrest.
The Ondo State Police Commissioner Wilfred Afolabi has departed Akure for Ifon to restore order and prevent further escalation of the crisis in the area.
