A Nigerian Air Force jet has dropped a bomb at Tudun Biri, a community situated in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The sad incident happened during a Maulud celebration on Sunday at around 9:00 pm according to local sources.
Although details of the incident remain unclear, locals said over 30 lives. The bomb struck while villagers gathered to observe the Maulud festivities in the village.
There was concern of the potential increase in the death toll.
Contacted for comment, acting Commissioner Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs refrained from providing casualty figures.
He mentioned that the government would address the media in a press conference at the Government House today on the situation .
