Many people have been killed and several others injured in fresh crisis between Ochoro and Bonta communities in Konshisha local government area of Benue State.
Over 50 houses were also set ablaze in the crisis that began on Monday and escalated on Tuesday night.
Sources said the fatalities include women and children.
This is coming two months after military sacked Bonta community following the killing of 12 soldiers on peacekeeping operation in the area.
Sources said the renewed crisis was an offshoot of the age-long rift between Bonta and Ukpute communty.
The council chairman of Konshisha, James Ijirgba, confirmed the fresh crisis on Wednesday.
There is no official statement from Benue State Police Command on the incident.
