Burnley rescued a point after a fine second-half perfomance. Manchester Utd dominated the first period and thought they had the lead early on, only for VAR to rule out Varane’s header following a foul from Maguire.
They weren’t to be denied for long though and the visitors took the lead when Shaw set up Pogba for a fine finish from 12 yards.
Burnley didn’t manage a single shot in the first 45 minutes, but they flew out of the blocks in the second period and quickly equalised when Weghorst played in Rodriguez for an excellent one-on-one finish.
From there, the visitors created a few half-chances late on, but Burnley defended stoutly to secure a point.
