Man U were on their game from the onset, winning a penalty in the first minute that was beautifully converted by Bruno Fernandes. Luke Shaw added a vital second after the break to deliver the three points that lifts them back into second place.
United take the lead as Fernandez converts a penalty. He fires low and hard towards the bottom-left corner to give city’s Ederson no chance just two minutes into the game. A great start for the Man U.
Shaw leads the charge downfield for United and then finishes the move with a precise finish. Shaw takes a touch before placing a left-footed strike past Ederson into the bottom-right corner to extend United’s lead to 2.
