An unidentified man died on Thursday after jumping from the 7th floor of a building at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was learnt he was trying to escape from operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who were in the estate to effect the arrest of a suspect who was not in any way connected to the deceased.
Spokesperson of the Lagos Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the incident said the case has been transferred to the homicide unit of the Force Investigation Department.
