The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, were among the ministers present at the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.
Tallen, Malami and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige who earlier indicated interest to vie for elective positions later withdrew from the race following directive by President Muhammadu Buhari to appointees with political ambition to resign.
While Tallen and Malami attended the meeting, Ngige was absent at the time of filing this report.
Also in attendance are the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari; Head of the Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, and National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd).
Others include the Ministers of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami; Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashol; Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Power, Abubakar Aliyu; Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello and Foreign Affairs; Geoffrey Onyeama.
Also present include Ministers of State for Health, Olorunimbe Mamora, Agric, Mustapha Shehuri and Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba.
