Former Senator Magnus Abe has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.
Abe represented Rivers South-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
He announced his defection in a statement by his spokesperson, Parry Benson, on Wednesday.
The former lawmaker, however, said he will continue to support the presidential bid of APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
“I have since left the APC in Rivers State, I am still part of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s family and have no issue with him whatsoever,” Abe was quoted as saying in the statement.
