The House of Representatives member from Kano State, Yusuf Umar Datti, has shared cars, agricultural inputs, tricycles, among other items to his constituents.
Mr Datti represents Kura, Madobi and Garun Malam federal constituency in Kano state.
Addressing thousands of political supporters during the distribution exercise, the house member stated that empowering the constituent members to be self-reliant is a paramount task that he will pay more attention to while urging the beneficiaries to make good use of the items given to them, the member also asked those that didn’t benefit to be patient as heir will son be given to them as well.
During the event, over 1000 individuals received empowerment of working tools and cash grants. While 4 people received saloon Cars,3 received trickles, 50 received Motorcycles, 1000 got bags of fertilizers among other items.
Similarly, in his address; Kano state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf commended the House member’s effort and also urged others to emulate the gesture. Represented during the event by the State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Yusuf Ibrahim Kofar Mata, the governor also urged the constituents to continue supporting the member and Kano state government’s efforts in making life easier for its citizens.
