Nigerian governors and other top politicians have paid condolence visits to Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda in Saudi Arabia over the death of his mother Hajiya Shafa’atu Umaru Baribari.
Hajiya Shafa’atu died in Abuja and buried in Katsina Sunday afternoon.
Some of the governors who paid their condolences include Mohammed Umar Bago (Niger), Babagana Zulum (Borno), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe).
National political figures who also visited included APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Bauchi State Governor Adamu Mu’azu, and business tycoon Dahiru Mangal.
Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa also participated in the condolences.
The visitors expressed their sympathies and offered prayers for the soul of the departed matriarch during this solemn occasion.
