Comrade Inuwa Musa Kwankwaso, the immediate younger brother of former Governor of Kano State Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is dead.
He died on Monday at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano after a protracted illness.
Coordinator of Kwankwasiyya Media Centre, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, confirmed the death in a statement on Monday.
He died at the age of 64.
The deceased was a retired civil servant and an agricultural engineer.
The late Kwankwaso was educated in Ibadan and the United States.
He worked with the Afforestation Project in Kano for many years.
The deceased is survived by a wife, two daughters – Barr. Nafisa Inuwa and Zainab Inuwa – and many relatives.
He will be buried according to Islamic rites at his country family home in Kwankwaso village, Madobi Local Government area of Kano state by 4.00pm on Monday, the statement said.
