The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Presidential Candidate, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, says he is optimistic of victory.
He said the peaceful conduct and huge turnout of his home supporters without much presence of security at his Tandu 1 Polling Unit was an indication that Kano people are lover of peace.
Mr Kwankwaso arrived at the secondary school where his polling unit is located, but initially went to a different polling unit as there are about six polling uunitson the premises.
He was later redirected by the INEC staff to the right PU where he voted.
