The abducted Nasarawa State Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Yakubu Lawal, had been released.

DSP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this on Friday.
Kidnappers seized Mr Lawal from his residence in Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area on Monday around 9:45pm.
It was not clear how much ransom was paid for the commissioner to regain his freedom.
The abductors had earlier demanded for N100 million but later scaled it down to N20 million.
The Commissioner was released around 6:00pm on Friday and was reunited with his family.
The police spox said the victim was also taken to the hospital for medical examination.
Mr Nansel said no suspect has been arrested in connection with the abduction, but said the police would not relent until the perpetrators are arrested.
