Abductors three students of St. Albert the Great Institute of Philosophy, a Catholic Seminary situated in Jama’a local government area of Kaduna State have demanded N50 million ransom for their release.
Bandits had on Monday night abducted five students from the school, but two of the abducted victims were later released by the kidnappers.
An aide to Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna branch, J.F. Dabo who confirmed this said the kidnappers contacted the father of one of the three abducted students and made the demand.
Dabo, who is also the National President of Catholic Youth In Politics Forum, said one of the students earlier released had a cut on his head and was bleeding.
Spokesperson of the state Police Command Mohammed Jalige, also confirmed the development.
He said operatives have been deployed to cordon the nearby bushes, and rescue the victims.
