The kidnappers who seized an Assistant Manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Lafia branch Mr. Isaac Bature Gbaja, have reportedly demanded N10 million ransom.
Gbaja and two others whose identity is still sketchy as at press time were kidnapped on Monday.
A colleague of Gbaja and the others were kidnapped around 8 pm at his wife’s shop near MACFES Royal Suites, along Kwandere Road, Tudun Gwandara, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The latest kidnapping was coming 24 hours after a councillor in Lafia Local Government Council, Agidi Bulus Ajeh, was seized by unknown gunmen.
Ajeh has, however, been released.
The police in the state were yet to react to this latest kidnapping at the time of filing this report.
