The abductors of the six persons from the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) staff quarters have demanded N300 million for their release.
Four staff of the university along their two children were abducted by bandits at the staff quarters on Tuesday morning.
The varsity’s spokesperson, Habib Yakoob, who confirmed the development said the bandits “are asking for N300 million collectively. I’m not aware if they were given a deadline to pay or not.”
A son of one of those abducted said the abductors told his family to provide N100 million ransom after they took his father away.
