The abducted mother of the Kano Central Senatorial District candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulkarim Abdulsalam Zaura, has been rescued by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The DSS rescued the aged mother of the politician in faraway Jigawa State barely 24 hours after she was kidnapped.
Chairman of Ungogo Local Government, Engr. Abdullahi Garba Ramat confirmed that she was rescued in Jigawa State.
Also, a top DSS operative confirmed that their officers had rescued Hajiya Laure and another aged woman who was abducted 10 days ago.
