Katsina state government has resolved to file two cases against a whistleblower Mahdi Shehu for his continuous and alleged unfounded accusations of government financial dealings.
The state commissioner for justice, Ahmed El-Marzuq at a press briefing on Thursday said government can no longer fold it arms to be dragged into this filth of accusations by Mahdi.
He said, one of the case to do with cyber crime shall be filed at Federal High court Katsina while the second will be at the state High court to do with forgery and public incitement.
According to him since last year Mahdi has been going places rubbishing the government by dolling out fake documents and other irrelevant and forge documents to tarnish the image of the administration Which cans no longer be tolerated by government.
By the end of today we shall file the two cases at the courts aforementioned, he asaid
21st Century chronicle reports that Shehu a whistle blower has raised several misdemeanours allegedly being perpetuated by the Governor Aminu Masari administration running into billions of Naira an action that the government has always denied.
To proved his case Mahdi kept issuing documents online as well as short videos of himself announcing government dealings.
