The Kaduna state University has terminated the appointment of Dr Idowu Abbas of Geography Department, over alleged sexual harassment.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Abdullahi Ashafa, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, said the university has also promoted 12 lecturers to the rank of Professor and eight others to the rank of Associate Professor.
Ashafa identified the lecturers promoted to the rank of Professors as: Dr Helen Andow,, Dr Upah Butari, Dr Suleiman Suleiman., Dr Muhammad Bello, Dr Sadiq Abdu,, Dr Dickson Dyaji.
Others are: Dr Audee Giwa, Dr Usman Yusuf, Dr Zainab Dabo, Dr Benjamin Gugon, Dr Zakari Ladan, and Dr Muhammad Sani Abubakar.
