Bandits have kidnapped the mother of All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Kano Central Senatorial candidate, Abdulkarim Abdulsalam Zaura, better known as A.A Zaura.
Hajia Laure Mai Kunu was abducted in the early hours of Monday before the Muslim call to prayer, it was learned.
The abduction was confirmed by the Chairman of Ungogo Local Government , Engr. Abdullahi Garba Ramat.
He said Hajia Laure was kidnapped at her residence in Rangaza ward of Zaura village of the local government.
There was no immediate comment from the Kano State Police Command.
