This decision comes after the police reported that normalcy has been restored and there are no longer any violent incidents or threats.
The curfew was initially put in place to maintain law and order and prevent further escalation of violence during the protests.
According to a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, with the situation now under control, the governor has deemed it necessary to lift the curfew to allow residents to go about their daily activities without restriction.
