Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has been honoured with the prestigious NUT Golden Award for his outstanding performance in reforming the state’s education sector.
The award was presented during the World Teachers’ Day 2024 celebration at the Eagle Square, Abuja, organised in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education.

The NUT National Chairman, Titus Ambe, praised Yusuf’s dedication to advancing education, particularly through supporting teachers’ welfare and continuous training.
Yusuf reaffirmed his commitment to further investing in education, emphasising the importance of sustaining progress to ensure that the future generations thrive.
