The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled Dan Bilki Kwamanda over his alleged anti-party activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The state APC Publicity Secretary, Auwalu Abdullahi Soja, announced that the party had expelled Kwamanda over statements allegedly made in breach of the APC constitution and regulations.
The decision followed a recent interview granted by Kwamanda to a local radio station, where he was reportedly alleged to have threatened to work against the party in the 2027 elections.
The party had repeatedly warned its members against anti-party activities, insisting that all members must support APC candidates at all levels.
However, Kwamanda rejected the reported expulsion, describing it as invalid and insisting that nobody had the authority to remove him from the party.
