Other members of the newly constituted executive include Salisu Maje Ahmed Gwangwazo as Deputy Chairman; Prof. Yusuf Muhammad Sabo Bichi as Secretary; and Prof. Nura Yaro Dawakin Tofa as Assistant Secretary.
Also elected were Abdul Adamu Fage as Legal Adviser; Barrister Bashir Tudun Wuzirci as Assistant Legal Adviser; Kabiru Sule Rogo as Treasurer; Ma’aruf Abdullahi Garo as Financial Secretary; and Dr. Kabiru Hussaini Zawaciki as Organising Secretary.

However, Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, congratulated the new leadership and described the peaceful conduct of the congress as a demonstration of political maturity.
