It has become a habit for some Nigerians to hurriedly propagate negative news and remain silent on positive news. That’s the reason behind our propagating positive news and happenings, especially on the development aspect.

Kano state has continued to benefit from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, as recently the state was blessed to receive the following projects:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved the sum of N334 billion for the Kano-Kongolom 132 KM road project. The road is a three-lane concrete carriageway and will be equipped with solar-powered streetlights with modern CCTV surveillance systems. The road will link Kano with Jigawa and Katsina states.

The Tinubu administration also launched the official Phase 1 of the Revival, Rehabilitation, and Reactivation of the Kano South Irrigation Scheme. Under this intervention, 5,000 water pump machines were distributed, with each already having a well dug on their farm. Additionally, 100 tricycles and 100 motorcycles were distributed to improve irrigation farming and economic activities in Kano South.

Furthermore, 120 solar-powered pumps for irrigation were distributed to 120 young farmers and 160 SMEs across Dawakin Tofa, Tofa, and Rimin Gado Local Government Areas of Kano state. This is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda to enhance agricultural productivity and promote sustainable farming.

The Tinubu administration, in collaboration with the Kano state government, has been actively distributing solar-powered irrigation pumps across Kano state to boost dry-season farming and reduce operational costs for farmers.

Under President Tinubu’s administration, in collaboration with the Kano state government, the installation of solar-powered streetlights across communities in major metropolitan roads in Kano continues.

In our previous writings, we drew lists of development projects Kano state benefited from, all under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, including construction of roads, railroads, dams, etc.

Kano state has never been lucky to have a President that cares for it like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Kano will continue to remember Tinubu and accord him respect like Generals Yakubu Gowon and Ibrahim Babangida, who all contributed in so many ways to the development of modern Kano.

The people of Kano will reciprocate President Tinubu’s care, concern, and contribution to the development of modern Kano by voting for him massively. To achieve this task successfully, Engr. Dr. Rabiu Suleiman Bichi should be appointed to organize, lead, and coordinate Tinubu’s reelection come 2027. He did a wonderful job as Director-General of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organization. He has the ability to bring together all groups under Kano APC and lead them to victory once again.

Awareness and propagation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s projects in Kano state need to be broadcasted louder to debunk opposition propaganda. The duty to tell the people of Kano state in a language they will understand about how Kano is developing under President Tinubu should be handed to Hon. (Dr). Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso. His experience in the field will help people understand good things happening to them under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in simple language.

As we approach the 2027 election, it’s a duty on the people of Kano to reelect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu so that the development of a new, modern Kano can continue.

Amb. Shehu Mustapha Chaji writes from Kano.
