Zulai Dalhat Lilisco, wife of famous Kannywood actor Shu’aibu Idris Lilisco, is dead.
She died on Wednesday in Kano.
Late Zulai had a short stint with the Hausa filmmaking industry before marrying her heartthrob actor Lilisco.
Mr Lilisco has been one of the pioneer members of Kannywood.
He was once quoted to have said that he has proved those who think that Kannywood actresses don’t stay in marriage wrong because the Kannywood actress’ wife he married for 20 years is still in his house.
The celebrity’s marriage has been regarded as a shining example in the Hausa entertainment industry as it stood the taste of time.
Already, condolences have begun to pour-in from different stakeholders and individuals in the entertainment sector, late Zulai has been buried according to Islamic rites. She died living behind many children and her husband, may her gentle soul rest in peace.
