A Kannywood producer and actor, Aminu Safiyanu Bono is dead.
He died Monday evening in Kano after a brief illness.
Mr Bono was a film director, a producer and a director before his death.
The death of the actor was announced Monday night by his friend and Chairman of the State Censorship Board Abba El-Mustapha on his verified facebook page.
He was buried Tuesday morning at Dandolo cemetery in the ancient city of Kano.
He is survived by four children, a wife and an aged father.
Already, former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje had sent his condolences to the family of late S Bono.
Kannywood artists have been reported to have stormed the late actor’s residence to condole the family of their late colleague.
