Confusion gripped the people of Madakiya village in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State when 20-year-old David Felix allegedly killed his biological father at their residence.
Reports suggest that the teenager made this grave decision, contending that his father recurrently manifested in his dreams as a bird with a human face, attempting to harm him.
The incident, according to police, dated September 30,2O23 before the boy was apprehended.
During an interrogation at the State Police Command Headquarters, the suspect admitted to the crime, expressing regret for his actions. He narrated that he took this extreme step after waking up from sleep, using a pestle to assault his father while the father was asleep.
ASP Mansir Hassan, the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, who presented the suspect, announced that formal charges would be filed once the investigation concludes.
