About 1, 046 Kaduna State pilgrims who performed the 2022 Hajj in Saudi Arabia have been refunded N147 million.
The fund was the excess they paid over the mandatory hajj fare for 2022 operations.

Arrigasiyyu, who disclosed this on Thursday in Kaduna, added each of the 1, 046 pilgrims will get N115, 692.11.
He said other pilgrims totalling 1,443, who performed the Hajj from the state, will be refunded through Jaiz Bank.
Already, the affected pilgrims have started receiving their money since Monday Arrigasiyyu said.
He said it began with pilgrims from Zaria, Sabon Gari, Soba and Lere Local Government Areas (LGAs).
He said those from Ikara, Kubau, Makarfi and Kudan LGAs were paid on Tuesday, followed by those in Igabi, Giwa, Kaduna North and Kaduna South would follow.
Arrigasiyyu said other pilgrims from Chikun, Kajuru, Jema’a, Kachia, Jaba, Kaura, Kagarko, Sanga, and Zangon Kataf will receive their refunds between Wednesday and Thursday.
