The Kaduna State Government has announced the commencement of refunds to individuals who purchased residential houses within Queen Amina College Kaduna, Alhuda-Huda College Zaria, and Government Commercial College Zaria.
The refund will begin on Monday, July 7, 2025.
The refund process follows Governor Uba Sani’s earlier decision to revoke the sale of institutional houses in these legacy schools, citing overriding public interest and the need to preserve educational facilities for future generations.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. AbdulKadir Mu’azu Meyere, confirmed that cheques will be ready for collection at the Secretariat of the Sale of Non-Essential Government Houses, located at Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kawo.
Beneficiaries are required to present the following documents to claim their refunds: Evidence of payment, Valid means of identification (e.g., voter’s card, national ID card), Bank details, including BVN and account number, Recent bank statement and Two passport-sized photographs.
