Four policemen have been killed by gunmen in Calabar, Cross River State on Thursday.
The incident happened at a checkpoint mounted by the cops Ayanmbat community, near Idundu in the Aka Efa area, in the state capital.
The gunmen opened fire on the cops while they are sitting on a bench at the location.
The police authorities are yet to comment on the tragedy.
