A 26-year-old Palestinian woman who allegedly stabbed an Israeli with a knife was fatally shot on Thursday in the occupied West Bank village of Huwara.
According to the Israeli Magen David Adom ambulance service, a 20-year-old Israeli guy was rushed to the hospital with a stab wound.
The man was identified as a soldier by the Israeli army.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the alleged assailant died as a result of gunshot wounds to the chest.
Huwara, a Palestinian town, had recently been the subject of multiple attacks and riots.
Following a deadly attack that killed two Israeli brothers in February, hundreds of Israeli settlers rampaged through the town, setting fires and killing at least one civilian and injuring about 100 others.
Every day, several Israeli settlers use a road that runs through Huwara.
