The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared the All Progressives Congress APC candidate Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, as the winner of the Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State.
Ayedatiwa was returned after winning the governorship poll in all the 18 local government areas of in state.
The governor won in Ese Odo Local Government Area in the last LG result presented on Sunday at the State Collation Centre in Akure, after he previously won in the 17 LGs earlier been announced.
While declaring ithe final results by the State Returning Officer, Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Prof Olayemi Akinwumi, said APC’s Ayedatiwa scored 366,781 votes to beat Agboola Ajayi of PDP, who got 117,845 votes.ng
The Returning Officer said, “That Ayedatiwa Lucky Orimisan of APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby returned elected.”
